After six years without going in summer, I returned to the Town, where my parents and grandparents were born and grew up. Like everything, it has changed over time, but it continues to have that calm and tranquility in the day to day that undoubtedly makes it the best place to rest and disconnect.

There are few ways to get there. The most practical is the car, basically because without it it is difficult to move around. The other option is to go by train to Montijo station.

If I had to summarize the holidays I would do it with the following three words: eat, sleep and family. The perfect contemplative vacation. One of the things that stands out in the Extremaduran landscape in August is the vast fields mowed with yellow bushes. Between so much gold color you can glimpse some olive or fruit tree. Storks are also special, from which you can find nests in any lamppost or bell tower.
