Today we propose a route for go for a walk in Barcelona, both for those who live in the city and for those who have accommodation in Barcelona during the holidays. Suitable for all audiences and with a delicious final reward.

Les aigües road is in the Parc Natural de Collserola and it is one of the natural limits of Barcelona. This road is one of the favorite places for locals to go for a walk, run or cycle, and so much so, that on weekends it may seem that you are walking along the Ramblas.

Last week, after work I went out with Sonia and Mireia, companions of adventures during my Travel to India, to take a walk and clear the head of routine work problems. The easiest way to get to the road of les Aigües is with the Catalan railways that leave from Plaza Catalunya station. Take the S1 or S2 lines to the Peu del Funicular stop and there the funicular to the Carretera de les Aigües station.

Once on the road, we can follow different itineraries. We went to the area of the viewpoints of Sant Pere Màrtir. The best thing about the Les Aigües road is that you are in the middle of nature next to the big city. In fact, and although it seems incredible, we find even a rabbit along the way (!) And in the garbage containers it is warned that you should not leave bags with food left out so that the wild boars do not eat it.

Further, from the road of les Aigües you can see the best views of Barcelona. When we reach the height of Camí de Lliçà street, we start the return to the city center. This point is indicated with a sign that indicates that in that direction you will go to the Sarrià de los Ferrocarriles de la Generalitat stop.
