As you know, during the Startrip we stayed five days in the resort Iberostar Paradise, one of the complexes of this hotel chain in the Riviera Maya and, as the name implies, it is located in Playa Paraíso. He resort It is thirty minutes drive from the Cancun airport and twenty minutes from Playa del Carmén. With this entry I would like to take a short tour of its facilities.

The complex has five five-star hotels with the maximum facilities. Of course, some of the hotels have more exclusive services than others depending on the price paid per night. The Paraíso del Mar and Paraíso Beach hotels are the least luxurious but still have several swimming pools and access to the beach, as well as a complete plan of activities for those who want to feel active.

The Paraíso Lindo hotel has one of the most beautiful reception areas in the entire resort and share a pool with the Paraíso Maya hotel, where we stayed three nights. One day we ate at one of the type restaurants buffet del Lindo and everything was very good, as in almost every restaurant in the resort.

How we stayed at the Hotel Paraíso Maya, This was the most explored hotel in the entire complex. At resort there is a pyramid that simulates Chichen Itza and just inside is the Kukulcan bar, where a giant metallic snake descends from the ceiling. Here you can take all kinds of combined with and without alcohol and It is the area that has free Wi-Fi at the Paraíso Maya hotel and, in which therefore, we spend enough time.

Restaurants of the Hotel Iberostar Paraíso Maya

There are several restaurants in the reception area. I ate at him Tapatio that is of buffet And it has a small menu, and depending on the day, they have Mexican or Italian food. In the morning we had breakfast for a couple of days in your buffet. However, I recommend that you have breakfast at the La Marina restaurant because, apart from having an extraordinary buffetIt has delicious à la carte breakfasts, too bad I discovered it on the last day.

The restaurant that I do not recommend much is the Japanese The Geisha, especially the sushi and the sashimi that what they told me was not very good. Since I don't like raw fish, I ate grilled salmon with soy sauce and that, at least, was good. For dinners it is required to go a little fixed, especially men, who have to go with long pants and closed shoe. In the thematic restaurants you have to book by talking with the concierge of the area in which the room is.

The hotel has an endless pool that runs from the lobby until almost reaching the sea and also has a wave pool. For those who prefer to bathe in the Caribbean Sea, the entire beach area is provided with sun loungers and umbrellas to protect a little from the sun, since there it hits very hard. It also has a non-motorized water sports program that we could enjoy when we sniff snorkel.
