They have finally arrived! No, we are not going to Japan, for that there are still two months left, today we are starting a week of vacation. The truth is that I personally need them because I have been a little old and we were not going to spend all summer working, right?

And where they will go, you will be wondering. Well, we go to the PEOPLE passing through Madrid and returning through Lisbon. Well, it seems a bit rocambolesque, but basically it is not so much. The "town" is where my parents were born and raised in Extremadura called Puebla de la Calzada. Extremadura is a community not very well connected, it can be reached by car (which we don't have) or by train. The problem with the train is that there are no direct trains and you have to change trains in Madrid and Barcelona-Madrid there is only AVE that is not very cheap, really. So taking advantage that I found a plane ticket with Vueling for 49 euros we will do the following:

Sunday we will leave for Madrid by plane at 6.15am, we will take advantage of the morning to visit it and at 16.30 we will take the only train that stops in the town. The Madrid-Montijo ticket costs 35 euros, but luckily I found it for 14 euros on the RENFE website.

I have already explained the trip, we will make the return via Lisbon. As it is about 300km away, we will take the opportunity to spend the weekend there and from there take the plane to Barcelona, ‚Äč‚Äčthis flight was more expensive (110 euros).

So on the way back we will explain how the week is.
